Scotland kick off their Autumn internationals when they welcome the Flying Fijians to Murrayfield. The home side have won their last four matches albeit against weakened opposition while the visitors are fresh from their Pacific Cup triumph. Scotland will be without their talisman Finn Russell who is not full fit with Adam Hastings stepping into the ten jersey. Fiji will not have their international stars available for this match so this is very much a Fijian Drua team. Hastings has big boots to fill in the flyhalf position and will do well if he can link up his potent backline that includes world class wingers in Duhan van der Merwe and Darcy Graham. The latter only recently returned from a long term injury and has not yet hit his straps. This match will be a perfect opportunity to show that he is back to his best. The Fijians have selected the Drua halfback pairing of Frank Lomani and Caleb Muntz. The youngster Isaiah Ravula who was the regular ten for the Drua now finds himself in the fullback position. The Scottish front row of Zander Fagerson, Ewan Ashman and Pierre Schoeman will be targeting the Fijians at scrum time which could lay the platform for their backline to flourish. I am predicting a Scotland win by more than 20 points.
