A full-strength Bordeaux team take on Leicester in the opening round of the Champions Cup. Freddie Steward has been selected in the fullback position for the Tigers so there is obviously going to be loads of kicking from the visitors as he is the best in the game when it comes to aerial skills. His selection may prompt the Bordeaux team to run the ball at every opposurtunity to negate his aerial threat. The pacy back three of the home side will be looking to run at the Tigers backline as they lack the speed to be able to track the likes of Bielle-Biarrey and Damian Penaud. The visitors strength lies in their midfield with explosive runners Izaia Perese and Solomone Kata. If they can get them into the game then it could be a close contest. I am predicting a Bordeaux win by 20 points as the potent backline will come to the fore.
