France vs Ireland
France and Ireland meet in the final of the Junior World Cup in Cape Town and few can argue that these teams were the best two throughout the tournament. They arrive in the finals unbeaten although the Irish had a drawn match in the group phase against England. France will be hoping for a better start then in the semis where they trailed England by 10 points before running riot in the second half to win by 21 points. If they allow the Irish easy points in the first half, they will find it very difficult to overcome the Green Machine in the second .
TIP: Both these teams have been very consistent in their selections in the last few matches and once again, there is not many changes expected. The Irish have shown that they have an excellent bench and if they are to squeeze out a halftime lead then they will be confident of causing an upset. The French have been the most complete side in the competition with great interplay between backs and forwards and start as favourites. The bookies have France as favourites and I’m also tipping them for the win. The best odds on this bet are as follows: Betway 1.40, Gbets 1.41 and Hollywoodbets 1.41

PREDICTION
Many of the French players are currently playing professional rugby and its plain to see their calmness even when under pressure. The Irish will once again look to their most experienced player Sam Prendergast who has already played for the Leinster senior side this season. He will need to find the right balance between kicking and running as the French have shown they are willing to attack from anywhere on the field. The stand out player for Les Blues has been the giant 150kg lock Posolo Tuilagi and he will need to be brought to ground as quick as possible otherwise the Irish will pay the price. I am predicting a French win by 10 points.
