Northampton Saints vs Exeter Chiefs
Northampton welcome Exeter to Franklin Gardens for this match in the Gallagher Premiership. The home team started their season with two losses but bounced back to win their next two matches. They have found form at the right time as their opponents have been superb this season. Exeter have been unstoppable at home, winning all three of their matches but they did lose their only away game. Northampton have looked better in defence this season as they conceded the most points in the league last season. They don’t have problems scoring points and it is hoped that their defensive problems are behind them now.
TIP: The Saints welcome back two of their back two of their World Cup stars in Alex Mitchell and Courtney Lawes. The latter will be keen to have a great season as he has retired from international rugby last month. Exeter have largely stuck to the same team that beat Bristol and it’s hard to argue with that decision. The home team will need to be solid in their maul defence as the Chiefs use this as a major weapon. The bookies have Northampton as favorites and I’m also tipping them for the win. The best odds on this bet are as follows: Betway 1.70, Gbets 1.70 and Hollywoodbets 1.71

PREDICTION
The Saints love to run the ball from anywhere is always exciting and results in spectacular tries but they will need to find the right balance between attack and defence. The Chiefs on the other hand refuse to play rugby in their own half and kick away a lot of possession therefore the home team should expect an aerial assault. One of the shining lights for Exeter has been their young halfback combination of Harvey Skinner and Tom Cairns. They have shown a willingness to attack the line which has opened up opportunities for players around them. I am predicting a tight match with the hosts winning by six points.
