Leinster vs Munster
Leinster plays host to Munster at the Aviva Stadium in this all Irish semi-final.The home side were ruthless in their 35-5 thrashing of a Springbok laden Sharks team in the quarterfinal. Munster had a much tougher match as they edged out 14 man Glasgow 14-5. The home side have been imperious in all competitions this season and the scary part is that they played a largely second string team in the previous match and won easily. Munster showed tremendous defence in their win and it remains to be seen if they can keep Leinster at bay for 80 minutes.
TIP: Leinster will probably recall their regular starters for this match although with the Champions Cup final a week away, they could yet surprise with their team selections. Munster on the other hand are in crisis mode with injuries, with at least four top players in serious doubt. Munster will need to show more attacking intent in this match as Leinster will not be beaten by any team that is ultra-defensive. The bookies have Leinster as favourites and I’m also tipping them for the win. The best odds on this bet are as follows: Betway 1.14, Gbets 1.12 and Hollywoodbets 1.14

PREDICTION
The biggest difference between Leinster and any other team in the URC is the incredible squad depth at the province. Whatever XV they put on the field, they are extremely difficult to beat and Munster will need to be at their best in every aspect if they are to test the home team. Leinster can be thankful to have an excellent replacement for Johnny Sexton in the form of Ross Byrne and he has been brilliant in controlling the game and linking his dangerous backline. Munster will be looking to the experience of players like Conor Murray and Peter O’Mahony to guide them around the park. We are predicting a Leinster win by 20 points.
