England vs Australia
England play host to Australia at Twickenham in this Autumn International Test match. The home team were ruthless in dispatching 14 man Tonga 69-3 in their last match. England coach Eddie Jones has drafted in lots of new players, no doubt with the Six Nations and the 2023 World Cup in mind. They will be bolstered by the return of Owen Farrell for this encounter. England have bounced back from their poor Six Nations campaign where they finished fifth to record three straight victories since then. All those wins have come against the smaller nations and this match will be an indicator of how well they have progressed. England are on a five game winning run at home after their loss to Scotland in the Six Nations. Their overall record at home is very impressive with just one loss in their last eleven home matches.
TIP: Australia did not start their Northern Hemisphere tour on a good note as they narrowly went down to Scotland 15-13. They can feel aggrieved as they had a legitimate try ruled out by the referee. They were on a five game unbeaten run which included two victories over the World Champion Springboks. These five wins were preceded by three consecutive losses to the All Blacks in the Bledisloe Cup and Rugby Championships respectively. They bounced back to take second place in the Rugby Championship. Australia were always going to struggle on this tour without keys players Quade Cooper and Samu Kerevi who were unavailable to tour due to club commitments. The bookies have the England as favourites and I also tip them for the win. The best odds on this bet are as follows: Worldsportsbetting 1.22, Playabets 1.20 and Sunbet 1.18

PREDICTION
This young England team is certainly showing glimpses that they could develop into a world-class team and have selected wonder kid Marcus Smith at 10 for this clash. He is the best attacking flyhalf in England and will no doubt ignite the potent England backline. Eddie Jones has strangely selected Manu Tuilagi at wing but I feel that he is too slow for this position. Australia will want to target him especially in the aerial contests. England will have the upper hand in the forwards and especially at scrum time as the visitors have lost two of their props to concussion. Australia will fight to the final whistle but I feel the depth and the bench power of England will carry them to victory by less than 10 points.

Predictions and Odds in details
There are many interesting contests but the battle between the young gun Smith and the experienced James O’ Connor will go a long way to deciding who wins this match. The English team will look to attack the Aussies in the forwards and the visitors must be prepared for a barrage of rolling mauls. They can frustrate the home team if they defend the mauls successfully as this is a major attacking weapon for England. Australia will be best suited if they adopt a ball in hand approach as this is when they are at their most dangerous. There are decent returns on the England win but I suggest the visitors on the generous handicap. The best odds on this bet are as follows: Worldsportsbetting (+12.5) 1.90, Sunbet (+12.5) 1.90 and Playabets (+10.5) 1.80
Sports crazy fan that follows all major sport but the game with the oval ball is my real passion. Was an age level rugby coach and a huge supporter of the Springboks and diehard Liverpool man. I’m an experienced punter and sports writer whose predictions/tips are sure to stir up the emotions. I love the occasional wager on the underdog.
