Leicester Tigers vs Exeter Chiefs
Two teams with contrasting results come into this match as the Leicester Tigers welcome Exeter to Welford Road. The home side were smashed 55-24 by Leinster last week while the Chiefs upset the Stormers 42-17 in their last match. Both teams are chasing points but for very different reasons as the home team are trying to climb into second position and secure a home semifinal while the visitors are eight points outside of the playoff positions but they do have a game in hand over fourth placed London Irish. Exeter will need to win this match with a bonus points and hope the teams above them also lose which is a very unlikely scenario.
TIP: The Tigers will be looking for redemption in front of their home fans and will be looking to gain the full five points as they chase second placed Sale Sharks. They have made very few changes but have recalled veteran winger Chris Ashton to the team. The Chiefs have made a host of changes as they will have one eye on their Champions Cup semi-final next week against La Rochelle. The bookies have the Tigers as favourites and I’m also tipping them for the win. The best odds on this bet are as follows: Betway 1.30, Gbets 1.30 and Hollywoodbets 1.32

PREDICTION
The home side have been in excellent form at Welford Road and will be hoping to continue in that vein as the Chiefs have been woeful on the road this season. The Tigers have been on an excellent run in the league, winning their last five games and showing that they will not be relinquishing their title without a fight. The Chiefs on the other hand have all but thrown away their semifinal chances after a shock defeat to Bath in their last league outing. They are however still in the Champions Cup and therefore have chosen to rest a few first team regulars. I am predicting a home win by more than 10 points.
