England vs South Africa
In a rematch of the 2019 final, England and South Africa face off in the second semi-final at the Stade de France. The defending champions were involved in the match of the tournament in their 29-28 quarter final win over the hosts France. They have stuck with the same 23 players that started the last match. England also had a tough encounter against Fiji which they eventually won 30-24, thanks to a drop goal and a late penalty by Captain Owen Farrell. The English are trying to downplay the revenge angle but no doubt they will want to get one over the Boks.
TIP: England came into the World Cup in disarray after losing to Fiji in a warm up match but have steadily improved in the tournament. They remain the only unbeaten team albeit having had a much easier draw than the Springboks. England have brought Freddie Stewart back into the fullback position to thwart the aerial attack of South Africa. These big matches are often decided by the forwards and this is an area the Boks definitely have the advantage in. The bookies have South Africa as favorites and I’m also tipping them for the win. The best odds on this bet are as follows: Betway 1.18, Gbets 1.18 and Hollywoodbets 1.19

PREDICTION
The Springboks have shown during the tournament that they can change their game plan whatever the match situation. England on the other hand have backed their kick and chase game but that could be fraught with danger as the Boks have deadly wingers in Cheslin Kolbe and Kurt Lee Arendse who will punish any wayward kicking. The scrum battle will be massive and should be a fairly even contest early in the match but it is the second half replacements that England will need to worry about. The Boks Bomb Squad have destroyed all opposition in the last quarter therefore we predict a South Africa win by more than 10 points.
