Sharks vs Munster
The Sharks welcome Munster to the Shark Tank for the second time in three weeks for this URC encounter. This will be a rematch from their round of 16 clash in the Champions Cup when the Sharks knocked the Irish giants out 50-35. The visitors have bounced back from that loss with an excellent 26-24 victory over the defending champion Stormers. They handed the Cape side their first home loss of the season. This will be the Sharks last home game of the season and will love to win and say a winning farewell to Siya Kolisi and Thomas du Toit who are leaving at the end of the season.
TIP: Munster are a proud Irish team and will have revenge on their mind when they take the field against the Sharks. The previous match’s scoreline is not a reflection of the match as the Sharks took their foot of the gas when they reached the 50 points mark. The Sharks will be looking for a major improvement on their performance from their last match when they left it late to put away Benetton. The bookies have the Sharks as favourites and I’m also tipping them for the win. The best odds on this bet are as follows: Betway 1.50, Gbets 1.48 and Hollywoodbets 1.51
HEAD TO HEAD STATS

- The home team has won both the previous two encounters.

PREDICTION
The Sharks have been the most inconsistent team in the competition where on one week they can beat the very best team and the next time out they struggle against a weak team. They will be hoping that they have saved their best performance for this match as Munster looked excellent against the Stormers. The visitors were dealt a massive blow when their Springbok lock RG Snyman was ruled out from this match with concussion. The home side will once again look to their pack to get them the victory and Munster will need to keep a close eye on Grant Williams as the little nine has been on fire this season. I am predicting a Sharks win by 10 points.
