Japan vs England
Japan play host to England at the Tokyo Stadium in this first their first match since Eddie Jones returned as manager. The home side have selected a highly inexperienced side with eight uncapped players in the matchday 23. There is even a debut for a university student in full back Yoshitaka Yazaki. The visitors on the other hand have selected arguably their strongest team with the same continuity from the Six Nations. Coach Steve Borthwick has gone for the more attacking Marcus Smith in the flyhalf position ahead of Finn Smith. The power of the England team is going to be the problem the much smaller Japanese team will face.
TIP: The obvious advantage for the English team is their power and brute strength but the Japanese have shown that they know how to play to neutralize that strength. The home team have quick and mobile players across the team and will no doubt be looking to play a high tempo ball in hand game. The visitors will be more than happy to go from set piece to set piece as they will have the advantage in both the scrums and lineouts. The bookies have England as favorites and I’m also tipping them for the win. The best odds on this bet are as follows: Tictacbets 1.05, Wanejo 1.05 and Bettabets 1.05

PREDICTION
England will know anything other than a resounding victory will leave a hollow feeling as they are at full strength against a makeshift Japanese team. Captain Michael Litch is really the only player with experience while England may not know many of the home teams players which could prove to be an advantage. Two of Japan’s debutants Jone Naikabula and Dylan Riley have been lighting up the domestic league and they will be keen to show their wares on the international stage. Japan should be competitive during the first half but the England power game will wear them down later in the game. I am predicting an England win by 16 points.

Sports crazy fan that follows all major sport but the game with the oval ball is my real passion. Was an age level rugby coach and a huge supporter of the Springboks and diehard Liverpool man.
