Stormers vs Bulls
It’s derby weekend in South Africa as the Stormers take on the Bulls at the Cape Town Stadium. The home team will be on cloud number nine after their miraculous victory over two time defending European champions La Rochelle. Mannie Libbok was the hero with his sideline conversion after the hooter to win the match 21-20 for his side. The Bulls will be desperate to end a run of six consecutive losses to their coastal rivals and they will not have a better opportunity as the Stormers have some key players out with injury. The visitors rested most of their first team regulars last week, so they should be fresh for this match.
TIP: There will be a number of mouthwatering head-to-head match ups but the flyhalf battle between Libbok and Johan Goosen could go a long way in deciding the result of the match. The Bulls veteran number 10 has been in sublime form this season and if he links up his dangerous backline then the home team will struggle to contain the men from Pretoria. The match will ultimately be decided in the forwards and this is an area the Bulls have the advantage in. The bookies have the Stormers as favorites but I’m tipping the Bulls for the win. The best odds on this bet are as follows: Betway 2.25, Gbets 2.20 and Hollywoodbets 2.20

PREDICTION
The Stormers have not hit their attacking lines from previous seasons and this will be the perfect opportunity for the likes of Leolin Zas and Warrick Gelant to find form. The Bulls on the other hand have looked deadly on attack led by the Springbok speedsters Kurt-Lee Arendse and Canan Moodie. The acquisition of Willie Le Roux to the visitor’s side has certainly added an extra edge to their attack and it brings out the best in other youngsters like Stedman Gans and David Kriel. The Stormers will need to be better in the scrums as the Bulls have bolstered their front row with the likes of Wilco Louw and Akker van der Merwe. I am predicting an away win by 10 points.
