25/05 Daily Predictions Super Rugby Reds Vs Force

Reds vs Force

It’s an all-Aussie derby as the Reds play host to a resurgent Force team in this Super Rugby encounter. The home side have enjoyed a hugely successful season but will be looking to bounce back from their defeat to the Drua in the last match. The Force will be looking to continue with their good recent form that has seen them win the last two matches. They were very impressive in their 27-7 win over the Waratahs with their defence keeping the opposition scoreless in the second half. The visitors have an outside chance of making the playoffs but will need to win this match and beat the Brumbies in the final round.

TIP: The Reds have been one of the most entertaining sides this season as they have not been afraid to run the ball. It is this attacking play that has unearthed one of the stars of the season in Tim Ryan. The youngster has been scoring tries for fun since making his first start. The Force have selected one of their Academy graduates Ronan Leahy on the wing and his battle with Ryan could be one of the highlights. The bookies have the Reds as favorites and I’m also tipping them for the win. The best odds on this bet are as follows: Tictacbets 1.18, SoccerShop 1.18 and Bettabets 1.17

Reds vs Force

  • The Reds have won three of the last four matches against the Force.
  • The Force won 40-31 the last time these teams met.

Latest results for both teams

The Reds lost 28-19 to the Drua in their last match while the Force beat the Waratahs 27-20 in their last match.

The Force will need to be at their best if they are to upset the Reds although the home side will miss the services of their hard-working number 8 Harry Wilson who broke his arm. The ball carrying duties will be distributed mainly to Fraser McReight and Liam Wright who have been superb all season. The former has been a menace at the breakdown and has the highest number of turnovers in the competition. The visitors have looked great in attack with the halfback pairing of Nic White and Ben Donaldson finally clicking but it could be a matter of too little to late. I am predicting a home win by 10 points.
