North Harbour vs Waikato
North Harbour play host to Waikato in this round 3 clash in the Bunnings NPC. The home side will be desperate to get their first win after coming up short in their opening two matches. They have now lost four straight matches in the competition dating back to the end of last season. Waikato have a won one lost one record this season and will be looking for an improved performance despite their win over Counties. They made a number of basic errors and can consider themselves lucky that their opponents were not clinical enough.
TIP: The one man that will be feeling the pressure in the Harbour team is Tane Edmed. The Aussie flyhalf has looked out of place trying to adapt to the fast-paced playing style of his new team. They will be hoping that he can find his feet as Harbour have some of the most dangerous backline players. Waikato have the youngster Teha Kemara in the ten jersey and his battle with Edmed could decide the match. The bookies have North Harbour as favorites and I am also backing them for the win. The best odds on this bet are as follows: Tictacbets 1.75, Betway 1.75 and Bettabets 1.75

PREDICTION
The home side need to get the ball to their All Black flyer Shaun Stevenson who has been very quiet in the opening two matches. If he be deadly given give the ball in space. One of the strengths of the Waikato team is their powerful centre combination of Bailyn Sullivan and Quinn Tupaea. If the pair can get over the advantage line with their carriers then the Harbour team will battle to win. The home side will be looking to Lotu Inisi to replicate his Super Rugby form as he was beating defenders for fun. The desperation and home ground advantage for Harbour makes me predict a home win by 7 points.

Sports crazy fan that follows all major sport but the game with the oval ball is my real passion. Was an age level rugby coach and a huge supporter of the Springboks and diehard Liverpool man. I’m an experienced punter and sports writer whose predictions/tips are sure to stir up the emotions. I love the occasional wager on the underdog.
