Argentina vs England
Argentina and England play in the most disliked match of the World Cup, the third and fourth place playoff. The Pumas will be out for revenge after they were soundly beaten by the English in their opening match despite the opposition playing with 14 men for the majority of the game. The Pumas will be hoping for a much better performance than they put on in a 44-6 defeat to the All Blacks in the semi-final. It will be interesting to see how the reaction of the English players after their heart breaking 16-15 loss to the Springboks in the semi-final.
TIP: England will be scratching their heads over how they are not in the final. They led the Springboks by nine points with 12 minutes to go before conceding ten points in ten minutes. They could bounce back in style or Argentina could steam roll them if their heads are not in the game. Both teams have made changes with the biggest call coming in the England team where they changed their wings and brought Ben Youngs in at nine. The bookies have England as favorites and I’m also tipping them for the win. The best odds on this bet are as follows: Betway 1.36, Gbets 1.37 and Hollywoodbets 1.36

PREDICTION
Two stalwarts of English rugby Ben Youngs and Courtney Lawes will be making their final international appearances and the team will be desperate for them to end their careers on a high. The Pumas will need to improve in the set pieces as this is an area that the All Blacks dominated them. The English will be targeting them at scrum and lineout time as this is the Argentina’s weakness. If there is no rain during the match, we can expect England to be more expansive with Marcus Smith in at fullback. The English have the best defence in the tournament therefore I predict them to win by more than 10 points.
