29-04-2023 Daily Rugby Predictions Super Rugby Reds Vs Force

Reds vs Force

Both teams ended long losing streaks in their last match as the Reds beat Moana Pasifika and the Force recorded an upset win over the Highlanders. The home side started the season with aspirations of a top four finish but have failed to produce the goods. The visitors have been unlucky in a few matches as they have lost by a just a single score. They have been trailing in most matches at halftime but in the last match they started well and ended winning the game.

TIP: The Reds seemed to have some cohesion in their attack in the last match as they played James O’Connor as inside centre giving them two playmakers along with Lawson Creighton. The Force were excellent in all facets of their win against the Highlanders and have kept the changes to a minimum. The home side have the edge in the forwards although the visitors seem to have the stronger bench. The bookies have the Reds as favourites and I’m also tipping them for the win. The best odds on this bet are as follows: Betway 1.33, Gbets 1.34 and Hollywoodbets 1.32

  • The Reds have lost two of their last four home matches against the Force.

PREDICTION

The Reds have missed their powerhouse prop Taniela Tupou as they have not had the dominance at scrum time that they enjoyed in past seasons. They however have one of the best loose trios in the competition and will be expecting more from the likes of Harry Wilson and co-captain Liam Wright. The Force have always been a battling side devoid of flashy plays but this season they have shown ambition in attack with the acquisition of Zach Kibirge making a huge difference. The ex-Wasps has been scoring tries for fun and his wing partner Manasa Mataele has always been in great form. I am predicting a Reds win by more than ten points
