Australia U20 vs Ireland U20
Australia and Ireland meet in this Group B match in the Junior Rugby World Cup. The Irish team will be desperate to get their first win after drawing with England in their opening group match. They will be kicking themselves as they dominated the match for long periods before allowing the English to score late in the game to tie the match.
The junior Wallabies were given a scare in their match against the Fijians before prevailing 46-37 despite their prop Marly Pearce being sent off for a reckless challenge. A win for the men from down under will almost certainly secure them a place in the next round.
TIP: Both these teams will be coming into this encounter looking to improve their defence as they conceded points far too easily. The Irish in particular were miserly earlier in the year when they were crowned Six Nations champions. The Aussies showed they were rusty as they haven’t played competitively in a long time but they improved as the match wore on and will be far more cohesive in this match. The bookies have Ireland as favourites and I’m also tipping them for the win. The best odds on this bet are as follows: Betway 1.80., Gbets 1.82 and Hollywoodbets 1.82

PREDICTION
The Irish team looked like a well-oiled machine in the Six Nations but looked a shadow of themselves in their opening match and much of the reason was the poor form of their star player Sam Prendergast. He failed to control the game and missed a few simple kicks at goal. The Aussies will no doubt be looking to target him much the same way the English did. The Irish team seems to have the edge in the forwards and will be looking to play a much tighter game compared to the Aussies. I am predicting the green machine to bounce back and win by 9 points.
