Fiji vs Georgia
Fiji takes on Georgia in this crucial Pool C encounter with a win taking them closer to the quarter finals. They will be on cloud number nine after their victory over Australia that has put them firmly in the driving seat for the second qualifying spot. Georgia have been one of the most disappointing sides in the tournament with them reaching a new low last time out as they could only manage to draw against Tier 2 Portugal. Their scrum and lineout maul was the hallmark of their game but even against the Portuguese they could not gain any dominance in these areas.
TIP: While the Georgian scrum has regressed, the Fijians have looked stronger than ever in the set pieces. The Island boys have largely selected the same team for three consecutive matches, showing that they take the Georgian threat very seriously. The Lelos on the other hand have made wholesale changes to their team with many of their first team regulars dropped. The selection of Luka Matkava at ten is reward for his showing in the last match when he came on as a replacement. The bookies have Fiji as favorites and I’m also tipping them for the win. The best odds on this bet are as follows: Betway 1.06, Gbets 1.06 and Hollywoodbets 1.05

PREDICTION
The Fijians have always been known as the entertainers in the rugby world but lacked the forwards to challenge the top teams. All that has changed as their forward pack has been superb this tournament with the likes of Viliame Mata and Levani Botia. They are blessed in their backline with Captain Waisea Nayacalevu, Josua Tuisova and the irrepressible Semi Radradra. Georgia have been let down by their forwards with Father Time finally catching up with most of them. They will need their backline to fire otherwise they are staring down another defeat. I am predicting a Fiji win by more than 20 points.
