The only club to have broken the sequence of Bayern dominance is Bayer Leverkusen who won the league by going unbeaten the entire season. Judging from the transfers that have been made pre-season, we can only see Bayern winning their third consecutive title.

Who Will Win the Bundesliga in 2026/27?

Bayern Munich are our pick to win the Bundesliga for a third consecutive season. Vincent Kompany’s side dominated last season, finishing 13 points clear of Borussia Dortmund and scoring a record 122 league goals. They remain the clear favourites going into the new campaign, with bookies currently pricing them at around 1.12, well ahead of Dortmund, RB Leipzig and Bayer Leverkusen.

Dortmund are the most likely challengers after finishing second last season, while Leipzig and Leverkusen could also push Bayern. However, Bayern’s squad depth, attacking quality and experience make them difficult to oppose over a 34-game season.

Bayern Munich are odds on favorites to claim their third straight Bundesliga title with them potentially capable of winning the title and matching Bayer Leverkusen’s unbeaten run from the 2024 season. Harry Kane has been outstanding once again, scoring 61 goals in 2025/26 and remains the focal point of the team. Bayern will lose a couple of key players though with Manuel Neuer set to retire and Leon Goretzka already gone. New arrivals Nathaniel Brown and Ismael Saibari add quality, while attacking prospect Bara Sapoko Ndiaye is one to watch. The club does face some uncertainty as they need a new goalkeeper and another centre-back. Vincent Kompany has built a strong squad that should easily win the league but will struggle to dominate in Europe.

Borussia Dortmund have strengthened their leadership structure with Ole Book joining Lars Ricken and Niko Kovac. Jobe Bellingham and Justin Lerma are midfielders to watch, while Nico Schlotterbeck and Julian Ryerson provide defensive stability. Their reputation as a selling club was further backed when they sold star player Karim Adeyemi, considered by many as the best player since Jude Bellingham. They will do well to replicate their runners up position of last season. Maximilian Beier is an excellent young attacking player but will struggle without another striker.

Bayer Leverkusen Title Chances

Carles Martínez Novell’s recruitment has put a new focus on Bayer Leverkusen. The former Spanish coach was able to guide Toulouse to the Coupe de France title last year and is renowned in the Ligue 1. The team has kept its best players who include Robert Andrich, Malick Tilman, Edmond Tapsoba, Exequiel Palacios, and Jarrel Quansah. Patrick Schick will still be vital while Alfonso Moreira and Miguel Gutierrez will provide attacking prowess. Leverkusen will be the front runner for a Champions League spot for the upcoming season. 

RB Leipzig Title Chances

RB Leipzig enter a new phase under Martin DeMichelis following Ole Werner’s exit with the ex-Manchester City center-back trying to bring back their fortunes. The exit of Yan Diomande and Louis Openda represents the biggest worry, but there are still some important players like Christoph Baumgartner, Ridle Baku, Brajan Gruda, and Castello Lukeba in the team. Johan Bakayoko heads the attack while Willi Orban and David Raum have experience in the squad. Rocco Reitz and Maxim Esteve are the two new signings for the team. The loss of Diomande and Openda will seriously dent any hope of a title challenge with the Red Bull side set to struggle for a top four spot.
