Monday’s horse racing action is available from Gqeberha, with an eight-race program from the Fairview Poly track. Racing begins at 12:10 and includes two Classified Stakes events in Races 5 & 6. HE’S A GAUL produced a good second-place finish after his gelding. He can run into the placings if he is fit and ready to race.

NEWTOWN HEATH has finished fourth in all three of his starts on the Poly. He drops to a sprint race and should have no issues from a pole draw.

MEDITERANEANGODDES has good form and meets the right field to win again. She carries a handy mass of 56.5kgs and is a leading contender.

Race 4 – 1300m (MR 64 Handicap)
ABSOLU NOIR has good recent form and can go close once again. The eight-year-old carries a low mass of 52kgs and should run into the money.

DUKE OF ORANGE needed his last start and should strip fitter. He has been racing against stronger and should have no issues back in his own class.
