THE MERICFUL should have no issues with the rise to 2600m. His last two starts have been good and his in good form. I expect another strong effort, and hopefully he can shed his maiden.

LEAO ALADO showed signs of a form return last time when finishing second. I am backing him to confirm that run and upturn in form, with another place finish.

THERE SHE GOES recent runs have been fair. She has finished fifth in her last two starts and can improve here. Carded to race with 57kgs, she can finish in the placings.

Race 8 – 1200m (MR 72 Handicap)
THE removal of the blinkers will improve ALONE TIME, who did not enjoy running with them. He gets a nice draw of 2, and can set the pace at the front. He may be hard to catch at the finish, and represents the EW value in the lucky last.
