WORLD OF HOPE produced a fair debut run. He should come on from that effort. If he makes the natural improvement, he should fight out the finish.

FLYING HAFLA should not be a maiden for too much longer. She has been running well and meets the right field to shed her maiden tag. She is my banker in the BIPOT and PA.

Race 3 – 1600m (Class 4)
THE GHOST won well last time and was not heavily penalized for that victory. The appie takes 4kgs off and carded to race with 53.5kgs, she represents the EW value.

Race 4 – 1800m (Class 5)
KING BAVARIAN is a model of consistency and deserves a win soon. He does have a wide draw to overcome, but carries a handy mass of 54.5kgs. I think his consistency is finally rewarded with a win.

Race 5 – 1400m (Maiden Plate)
BUTTERCUP BABY ran well on debut and could be anything. If she makes the natural improvement, she should run into the money once again.

Race 6 – 1400m (Class 5)
PORFIRIO is weighted to go close to winning and is better off at the weights with some rivals. From a good draw of two, he is the horse to beat in this race.

Race 7 – 1000m (Class 4)
FUTURE FLO cost himself the win last time as he hung in the closing stages. With two wins and two seconds in his last four races, I will be shocked if he runs out of the money.

Race 8 – 1200m (Class 5)
New Year’s 2025 racing at Greyville closes with a competitive Handicap. I suggest you load up here if your are running in the exotics. My tentative selection is SIBERIAN WINTER. With some luck in running, she can sneak into the placings at massive EW odds.
