Thursday’s horse racing action is available from Gauteng, with an eight-race program from the Vaal Classic track. Racing begins at 12:25 and includes a competitive FM 100 Handicap event in Race 7. INSTANT ATTRACTION has been running well and should shed her maiden tag soon. She is trying the 2400m for the first time, and if she sees out the distance, she should finish in the money.

Race 2 – 2000m (MR 66 Handicap)
SILENT TRIGGER has been running well, and with the weight turnarounds, I will be shocked if he runs out of the money. A banker in my PA and BIPOT.

Race 3 – 2000m (MR 84 Handicap)
EIGER SANCTION is better than his last start, as he was reported not striding out. Before that run, he won four in a row and if bouncing back, should be a top contender.

Race 4 – 1600m (MR 74 Handicap)
AMERICAN REBEL has shown signs of a form return, and should go well. Last time he had no luck, so with better luck in running, he is a lively contender.

Race 5 – 1450m (Novice Handicap)
PRESSONREGARDLESS is in good form and the form lines of his last race have been franked. He has placed in his only attempt over this distance and should have no issues in this field.

Race 6 – 1200m (FM 77 Handicap)
TWICE AS WILD has been running well lately and has good form and okay form lines. She carries a low mass in this sprint race, and with just 52kgs on her back, she can sneak into the placings.

Race 7 – 1200m (FM 100 Handicap)
ANDI’S GIRL represents the EW value in this featured race on the card. She carries a handy mass of 55kgs, and is a top contender. I love her EW value, and she is my favorite runner on the card.

Race 8 – 1200m (MR 72 Handicap)
SUPER AWESOME last run was good when finishing third. He has dropped to a competitive mark now and despite carrying top weight with 62kgs, for me, he is the horse to beat. Let’s hope he can give us some EW returns in the lucky last.
