Friday’s horse racing action is available from Gqeberha, with an eight-race program from the Fairview Poly track. Racing begins at 12:40 and includes two competitive MR 80 Handicap events. Fairview Poly Selections
Race 1 – 1100m (Open Maiden)
It is an open maiden race, so you must go wide in the Bipot. I like CONNECTION to run well and continue his good form. It won’t be too long before he sheds his maiden tag.

Race 2 – 1600m (Maiden Plate)
LA PEQUENITA has been costly to follow, but she is in good form. I think she should win very soon, and she is the one to beat in this boat race against VINTAGE CRYSTAL.

Race 3 – 2000m (FM 76 Handicap)
UNYIELDING has run against some good sorts and carries top weight here. Despite her hefty mass, I think she is a leading contender and should run well.

Race 4 – 1200m (FM 70 Handicap)
ALLENDE has run well in Gqeberha and is weighted to go close. She should run into the money if she can get away well, and provided she is not too far back at the 400m mark.

Race 5 – 1300m (FM 66 Handicap)
KILEIGH’S FATE finally showed some form in her last start against males. Back in her sex company, if she can confirm her last run, she should be competitive. She is not a horse to trust, but I think she could sneak a place.

Race 6 – 1300m (Novice Handicap)
DONNY TEE has fair form and has been finishing close to the winners. He gets unlucky in running and does not find the winner’s box, but he always runs into the money. Let’s hope he can continue bringing us some EW returns
