If Sean Veale has a great day, we will make a big profit. Yet again, I am in his camp, and I like his runner, BREEDE BABY. She followed up her maiden win with a decent run against stronger. With some luck in running, she can finish in the money.

GODFATHER has produced two good runs since relocating from the Highveld and did not show in his next two races. However, he is carrying a low weight, and I think he can bounce back here. At 20/1, we can’t get hurt, so it is a small EW bet.

I found a big lurker in the featured race of the day in TIRPITZ. He has his second run in the province and can improve after his poor first start. He has fair Highveld form and did not enjoy the Poly last time. Now, back on the Turf, he is a dark horse to bounce back to his Joburg form. At 20/1, I love his EW odds, so have a bet.

Race 8 – 1200m (MR 78 Handicap)
IRONTAIL has good form, and in his last three starts, he has a win, a second and a third. He carries a low mass here and can be competitive. He can fight out the finish if he is not too far back at the 400m mark. I like his chances of giving us some EW returns at double digits in the lucky last.
