Horse Racing Today
Saturday’s horse racing action is available from the Western Cape, with a ten-race program from the Kenilworth Turf track. Racing begins at 12:10 and includes a competitive Cape A Stakes event in Race 7. Below are our South African horse racing tips, predictions and suggested bets for the day’s racing. The Western Cape has seen plenty of rain and storms in July. The weather and flooding were so bad that all race meetings at Kenilworth were abandoned for the entire month. Thankfully, racing resumed last weekend (August 3rd). However, more rain is expected for this Saturday’s meeting (August 10th).
If racing goes ahead, I have suggested some horses to include in your bets. These horses enjoy running in soft, wet conditions, so include them in all your plays.
Update (09 August @ 09:30): Due to additional rain on Thursday and Friday, and more rain expected on Saturday, the race meeting was abandoned.
