Saturday’s horse racing action is available from the Western Cape, with a nine-race program from the Kenilworth Turf track. Racing begins at 12:35 and includes three competitive Winter Championship Final events. Below are our South African horse racing tips, predictions and suggested bets for the day’s racing. The Western Cape has seen plenty of rain and storms over the past three weeks. Trainers have mentioned that horses couldn’t work over the past three weeks, so betting is tricky. I have decided not to suggest any bets, as I am not confident in tipping horses that are not fit. Also, the surface is unknown, and conditions are a mystery with all the rain and flooding.
