Saturday’s horse racing action is available from Gauteng, with a nine-race program from the Turffontein Inside track. Racing begins at 12:05 and includes two competitive Middle Stakes events in Races 5 and 9. Below are our South African horse racing today tips, predictions and suggested bets for the day’s racing. JILTED should have finished closer last time but hung at the 300m mark. If keeping a straight line, the filly should finish in the placings.

PRINCE OF KILDARE won easily last time and was penalised for that win. However, I still think he can run well and carries a handy mass of 57.5kgs. With some luck in running, he can run into the money.

Race 7 – 1450m (FM 75 Handicap)
DOITWITHDIAMONDS should have finished closer last time but strayed off a straight line. If running in a straight line, she will fight out the finish.

Race 8 – 1600m (MR 80 Handicap)
EIFFEL TOWER showed signs of a form return last time. I hope he can confirm that upturn in form, and I will have a small EW bet. Muzi Yeni is in the saddle, and he has been on fire when saddling trainer John Gray’s horses.
