Sunday’s horse racing action is available from KZN, with an eight-race program from the Greyville Turf track. Racing begins at 12:25 and includes a competitive MR 80 Handicap event in Race 8. Greyville Selections
Race 1 – 1000m (Maiden Plate)
AMOR FATI produced a good second run and should come on from that effort. If he can improve further, he is a decent shout for some EW returns, and a top three finish.

Race 2 – 1200m (Maiden Plate)
It is a tough race to open the PA for exotics backers, and you must go wide. I am taking a chance on REAL WAR to run well around the turn for the first time. Carded to run with 56kgs, he can be competitive in this weak field.

Race 3 – 1400m (Maiden Plate)
HER ROYALTY had good form before her poor second-last effort and bounced back well in her next run. She represents the EW value in the race, and I expect her to run into the money.

Race 4 – 2000m (Maiden Plate)
ELUSIVE BELLE has good form and has been running well. She will love the rise to 2000m, and with 56kgs, she can be competitive in this field. She should run into the top three if she sees out the trip.

Race 5 – 2000m (MR 76 Handicap)
TRUSOVA has been running well and has not finished far from the winners. He has a wide draw to overcome, but with some luck in running, he will be mowing them down at the finish.

Race 6 – 1400m (FM 70 Handicap)
GOLDEN MOMENT was unlucky in her last race as the saddle slipped, and she had no running room. The filly is progressive, and if all goes well with her travels, she should produce a top effort in KZN and in this race.

Race 7 – 1400m (MR 70 Handicap)
I love the value of LAKE COMO, who is much better than his form suggests. He has been running well but just cant finish in the money. If he can reproduce some of his best form, he should be competitive and give us some EW returns at a healthy price.

Race 8 – 1000m (MR 80 Handicap)
The lucky last and ONE TOO MANY is the horse to beat. He cruised in last time when winning cosily on the Polytrack. He was not penalised too much for that win and can follow up. Back on the Turf, he should have no issues, and with apprentice jockey Nirvan Nastili, who saddled him to victory last time, the pair can find the winners box again.
