Place your bets at Tic Tac Bets, where you will find the best odds.

Race 1 – 1200m (Maiden Juvenile Plate)

La Pulga produced a decent first run and is expected to improve in this race. He should overcome his greenness and run into the money in this weak juvenile race.

Suggested Bet – La Pulga EW @ 5/1EW Place

Race 2 – 1200m (Maiden Juvenile Plate)

Cumbre Vieja is a progressive gelding expected to run well in this juvenile race. He will have plenty of cover from a good draw and should finish in the placings.

Suggested Bet – Cumbre Vieja EW @ 7/1EW Place

Race 3 – 1400m (Maiden Juvenile Plate)

It’s a weak maiden juvenile race, so caution is advised when betting. Happy Days seem to have finally worked out what racing is all about, and after a decent last run; he is expected to improve further here. He has a wide draw, but if he settles well, he should have plenty in the tank in the final 400m.

Suggested Bet – Happy Days EW @ 9/1

Race 4 – 1400m (Juvenile Plate)

We are in the camp of the only filly in the race, Kinda Wonderful. She is receiving weight from her male rivals, and with 55kgs on her back, she is a contender. She followed up her maiden win with an impressive second; another win is possible with her low weight.

Suggested Bet – Kinda Wonderful EW @ 5/1EW Place

Race 5 – 1600m (Maiden Plate)

The penny has finally dropped for Tsunami Warning, and it won’t be long before he sheds his maiden tag. He has shown vast improvement over his last few races and can run well again from a good draw.

Suggested Bet – Tsunami Warning EW @ 5/1EW Place

Race 6 – 1000m (Class 4)

This race is between Palo Queen, She’s My Captain, Love Shack and Tequila Sky, but with odds around 2/1 to 3/1, there is no value backing any of them. Instead, we found a lunatic-priced horse in Nile The Boss. He is struggling after his maiden win, but he has a low weight, and it is a 1000m sprint, so hopefully, he will start well and manage to hold on for a place.

Suggested Bet – Nile The Boss EW @ 26/1

Race 7 – 1200m (Winter Sprint)

It is a competitive race, and you must load up in the exotics. Our tentative value bet is Silver Falcon. He looks to have lost his form, but he is a classy horse, and we will not rule out a form return. This time last year, he completed five wins in a row, so hopefully, he can return to that form.

Suggested Bet – Silver Falcon EW @ 14/1

Race 8 – 1200m (Listed Stakes)

Lion Rampart looks to be the right horse here, but he is short in the betting, and we looked elsewhere. Talk To The Master is looking for a hat trick of wins and is in a good space. He should run well and give Lion Rampart a proper challenge.

Suggested Bet – Talk To The Master EW @ 5/1EW Place

Race 9 – 1200m (Cape B Stakes)

The handicapper will be happy with his efforts as this race looks like a blanket finish between Dumbledore, Oliver, Gimmelightning and Silver Crown. All are around 3/1, and like in Race 6, we looked for better value. War Chariot is our pick (2 wins in his last six races), and we can ignore his last race, where he was overeager at the start and overraced. Should he settle better here, he represents excellent EW value.

Suggested Bet – War Chariot EW @ 11/1

Race 10 – 1400m (Class 5)

It is time for the lucky last, and once again, we found value in a horse that was inconsistent but produced an eye-catching run at the beginning of May. Black Path is a five-year-old mare who had no form at all and then, out of the blue, produced a shock second-place finish two runs back. She did not confirm that run as she struggled in her next race. However, we are giving her a chance to prove that isolated good run was not something of an anomaly. Jockey Xavier Carstens was on board in that second-place run, and with him once again as her pilot, with only 52kgs, she could run above herself again.

Suggested Bet – Black Path EW @ 15/1EW Place
