A sprint race for Bjorn Ironside to lose, and at 5/10, he should stroll home. We searched for value and like Mohave Man to place. His last start, when he dropped back to sprint distance, was good, and if he reproduces that run, he can finish in the top three.

Race 4 – 1160m (Maiden Plate)
Bilingual has run well at this course (two runs for two places). She meets the right field to shed her maiden tag. She should produce another solid effort if she does not get carried at the 200m mark.

Race 7 – 1800m (Grade 3)
A Grade 3 that many will use a prep run for the Durban July race day. Purple Pitcher is the class horse in the field and has produced some scintillating results in his career. The three-year-old colt has won seven of his last eight races, including two Grade 1’s. He has beaten some top sorts, and the form lines have worked well. This is a prep run for the big day in July, but he should be competitive once again.

Race 8 – 1160m (MR 96 Handicap)
Green Flash is well weighted and should give the males a run for their money. She has respectable form, with two wins in six races. She ran on strongly in her last start and can contest the finish if she reproduces that run.
