Sunday’s horse racing action is available from KZN, with a nine-race program from the Greyville Turf track. Racing begins at 12:05 and includes two competitive Pinnacle Stakes events in Races 5 and 6. Below are our South African horse racing tips, predictions and suggested bets for the day’s racing. Race 1 – 1100m (Maiden Plate)
BLOWIN IN THE WIND has some good form lines, and her last two starts have been excellent. She should once again finish in the placings with some luck in running.

CHILLI BOMB has relocated from the Highveld and has his first run in KZN. If settled in his new surroundings, he can be competitive in this maiden race.

Race 3 – 1400m (Maiden Plate)
This is a very weak maiden, and you must go wide in the exotics. My tentative selection is GOT THE WORD. He is better than his last two starts, and if he can run like his debut runs, he should finish in the money.

Race 4 – 1400m (Maiden Plate)
JP’S PALACE two runs have been good, and he is coming along nicely. He looks progressive and should shed his maiden tag soon.

GOOD TRAVELLER is a top racehorse who has gone off the boil over the past 18 months. However, he still runs well despite his MR drop. He carries a handy mass of 54.5kgs and is my pick to cause an upset.

Race 6 – 1200m (Pinnacle Stakes)
QUASIFORSURE is much better than his last three starts. He was given a break and freshened up. He should be ready to race, and if he can reproduce his best form, he should be competitive in this race.

Race 7 – 1600m (Non-Black Type)
CARE FORGOT is a progressive filly with plenty of scope. She has won two of her last three races, and despite facing stronger, she should run well.

Race 8 – 1600m (MR 90 Handicap)
RODRIGUEZ is an ultra-consistent gelding having his third run after a rest. Carded to race with a handy mass of 55.5kgs and a peak run, he represents the EW value.

Race 9 – 1600m (Maiden Plate)
The card closes with a maiden race and I found a big price runner. GOT THE FEVER returns to racing after a 19-week break. Before the break he ran a good debut effort but found trouble in running in his second start. If fit to race, and with better luck in running, he can sneak a place finish at massive EW odds.
