This race looks like a match race between MY BOY LOLLIPOP and ONE SCOTCH. Based on the better odds, I prefer MY BOY LOLLIPOP, as he has better form over a prolonged period.

Race 3 – 1400m (Maiden Plate)
YELLOW JACKET set the speed last time out and stayed on at the finish. The same tactics will likely be used again, and I expect another place finish.

Race 4 – 1950m (Maiden Plate)
AMIGO stayed on well over the mile last time, and it looked like he had more to come. Based on that run, I believe he will enjoy the step up to 1950m. With some luck, he will be fighting out the finish.

Race 5 – 1750m (MR 76 Handicap)
ABERDEEN was reported not to be striding out last time, so ignore that run. His previous run catches the eye, and if he reproduces that effort, he represents EW value.

Race 6 – 1000m (Pinnacle Stakes)
DONQUERARI is a top-class sprinter and is well weighted in the featured race of the card. If he gets off to a good start, he will be mowing them down at the finish.

HAPPY WANDERER’s last two starts have been good, and he has shown a form return. Although he is eight years old, he still enjoys racing. In the lucky last, carded to race with just 49kgs, I think he can run well, and he represents excellent EW value to end the weekend.
