DRAGON DRAGON has finished second in both course and distance attempts. Carded to race with 55kgs, she can give her male rivals a run for their money.

The featured race of the day and RAISEAHALLELUJAH is my pick. He is much better than his form in KZN, is now back in listed company, and can bounce back. Despite carrying a hefty mass of 62kgs, he is the horse to beat.

Race 6 – 1200m (Classified Stakes)
COMING IN HOT showed signs of a form return last time out. I will take a chance on him to confirm that run. He loves racing over course and distance and represents EW value.

Race 7 – 1450m (FM 97 Handicap)
SOLDIER’S EYE was not disgraced in her last two starts against stronger. She ran into the money twice and now back in handicap company, can continue her good form. With some luck in running, she can finish in the money again.

Race 8 – 1450m (FM 77 Handicap)
CERULEAN DANCER is a versatile mare with decent form. Her past results over this course and distance are a concern, but she is in a good space. If she can improve her runs on the inside track, she can challenge the horses at the top of the betting boards. I will take my chances on her running a better race here and have an EW bet.
