Race 1 – 1450m (Maiden Juvenile Plate)
Serrano has produced two good runs, and his last start caught the eye as he ran well in the closing stages. He gets the services of Muzi Yeni, and from a good draw, he should be one of the leading contenders in this juvenile race.

Race 2 – 1450m (Maiden Juvenile Plate)
It’s a weak maiden juvenile race, so caution is advised when betting. Our selection is Jilted, a two-year-old filly. She has produced two decent runs, and the form line has been franked from her last start. She has a wide draw to overcome, but if switched off at the back, she should have plenty left at the finish.

Race 3 – 1600m (Maiden Plate)
Bella’s Charm is a two-year-old who is slow away at the start. Her runs have shown improvement, and if getting away with the others, she could sneak into a placing or, at worst, run fourth.

Race 4 – 1600m (Maiden Plate)
Hat’s Queen is a filly taking on males, and her trainer has put up an apprentice jockey to get the weight allowance. Based on that 4kg claim, she carries just 49kgs and should win this race and shed her maiden tag. If reproducing her debut run, she is a banker in the Pick 6.

Race 5 – 1500m (FM 78 Handicap)
We are in the camp of Mighty Goddess, who is in a good space and decent form (2 wins in her last four races). She has a good draw of four and has won twice in this class, so we expect another good run.

Race 6 – 1500m (FM 92 Handicap)
Duenna ran a shocker in her last start, and if you ignore that run, she is an interesting EW runner in this race. Before that poor run, she had two wins on the bounce in a lower class. Back in her class, she produced that dismal run, but we are in her camp and are giving her a chance to prove that run was an anomaly. She loves racing at the course and has two wins from three starts.

Race 7 – 1450m (Pinnacle Stakes)
It’s a tough pinnacle race, as all runners are quality horses with decent form and winning chances. Mrs Geriatrix is a MR 112 filly, who is still open to improvement. Her racing career as a two-year-old was phenomenal, and she won 6 out of 6, including four Graded races. As a three-year-old, she has run against some decent sorts and has done well, but she is still looking for a win at this age. She is well-weighted and should be a serious challenge to her male counterparts.
