QUASIKAT made an encouraging debut when finishing second. She would have come on from that run and, despite taking on males, seems to be progressive. Carded to race with 56.5kgs, she can go close to winning.

INTRO ran well for Muzi Yeni last time out when finishing second. If she reproduces that effort, she should again run into the placings.

SECRET CHORD has been running well and is in a good space. In this sprint race, if not too far back at the 300m, he will be mowing them down at the finish.

ODE TO THE OCEAN made a form return last time when finishing second. I will take my chances on the mare, confirming that run with a small EW bet.

FULL GO has two wins and a fourth in his last four starts. The gelding is in a good space and runs with a handy mass of 54.5kgs. I think he represents the EW value here.

GOLDEN ASPEN carries a low mass of 52.5kgs in this sprint and should be competitive. She is a speedy mare and should be running on at the finish.

POMODORO’S JET is the class horse in this field. If he is fit to race, I am confident he will run into the money and is a leading contender.

Race 8 – 1200m (FM 74 Handicap)
PERINI PALACE has not finished too far behind the winners in her races. She is carded to race with 49.5kgs, and that low weight could be the difference between running into the placings or finishing at the back end of the field. I will take my chances that she sneaks into the money at big EW odds.
