Tuesday’s horse racing action is available from KZN, with an eight-race program from the Greyville Poly track. Racing begins at 12:30 and includes two competitive Class C events. Below are our South African horse racing tips and suggested bets for the day’s racing. Race 1 – 1400m (Maiden Plate)
MISTRESS REBECCA made the natural improvement in her second start when finishing third. She will enjoy the rise to 1400m, and represents the EW value.

Race 2 – 1200m (Conditional Maiden)
HEAD GIRL is a seasoned maiden but always runs into the money. If luck finally shines upon her and her connections today, she should finally shed her maiden tag.

Race 3 – 1000m (FM 84 Handicap)
AYUWI YUWI won well last time over this distance, and now takes a jump in class. Still, she carries a low mass of 51.5kgs, and should be competitive.

Race 4 – 1600m (Maiden Plate)
UZWANO lost a length at the start last time but ran on powerfully to finish second. If he jumps on terms with his rivals, he should be too good for this field and notch up his first win.

Race 5 – 1600m (MR 74 Handicap)
Back in form, FISH EAGLE last two starts have been excellent. He meets the right field to get back to winning ways. Jumping from a pole draw, he should run into the money.

Race 6 – 1900m (FM 74 Handicap)
OFF LIMITS raced wide around the turn in her last start, and that cost her at the finish. She gets a nice draw of 2, and that should have her in a great spot. With better luck in running, she should go close.

Race 7 – 1900m (MR 75 Handicap)
Despite winning last time out, ALLAROUNDTHEWORLD was not severely penalized. He meets similar rivals and should run well once again. I expect a top-three finish at worst.

Race 8 – 1400m (MR 66 Handicap)
RAFIKI won two in a row then was rested. He returned to the track last month, but was in need of that run. He should strip fitter here, and on his best form, I will be shocked if he runs a bad race. Have a nice EW bet at big odds.
