Greyville Poly Selections
Race 1 – 1400m (Maiden Plate)
RECORD HIGH is much better than his last start on the Turf. He enjoys running on the Poly, and from pole, he should get a handy position. If he can show his previous Poly form, he will have a say in the outcome of this race.

TERIYAKI has solid form lines and is very consistent for a maiden. He has a wide draw to overcome, but with some luck, he can fight out the finish, if not too far back at the 400m.

Race 3 – 1900m (Maiden Plate)
BURNING MAN is knocking on the door for his maiden win. He has finished second in his last three starts. He is trying the Poly surface for the first time, and if he takes to it, he is the horse to beat.

Race 4 – 1900m (MR 86 Handicap)
PIRATE PRINCE is weighted to run well and finish ahead of some of his rivals. He has fair form, and with Rachel Venniker on board, back from her Ascot success, the combination can run into the money.

Race 5 – 1900m (FM 65 Handicap)
ENGLISH PRIMROSE has fair form and has not finished too far from the winner’s box. She carries a handy mass of 54kgs and can feature from a good draw of three.

Race 6 – 1600m (MR 68 Handicap)
BALLY MAGIC has won three of his last four starts and is in a good space. He is not weighted to win, and some of his rivals should get the better of him, but he’s in top form and can show. With some luck in running, he can finish in the placings.
