Greyville Poly Selections

Race 1 – 1000m (Conditional Maiden)

The card opens with a weak race, so caution is advised when betting. I am taking a speculative bet on LA CHANCE to run well with no weight. In a sprint race carrying just 49.5kgs, she can hold on for a place if she can get away fast. She is having her first run on the Poly, so hopefully, she enjoys the surface.

Suggested Bet – LA CHANCE EW @ 18/1 Void Scratched

Race 2 – 1400m (Maiden Plate)

HER ROYALTY had good form before her poor last effort. She runs with the blinkers for the first time, which could make a world of difference. She represents the EW value in the race, and I expect her to run into the money.

Suggested Bet – HER ROYALTY EW @ 14/1EW Place

Playa Bets is the perfect platform for all your sports and casino bets. We recommend registering with Playa Bets, and you will receive a 100% first deposit match of up to 2000 ZAR.

Race 3 – 1800m (Conditional Maiden)

DYNASTY’S LAST has moderate form but is weighted to run well with 53kgs. If she gets some luck in running, she can sneak a place finish and give us some EW returns.

Suggested Bet – DYNASTY’S LAST EW @ 7/1 Void-Scratched

Race 4 – 1800m (FM 70 Handicap)

CANFORD QUEEN followed up on her maiden win with a hard-fought win the next time out. The hat trick is on the cards, and the three-year-old is progressive. She meets a similar field since her last win, and can be competitive again.

Suggested Bet – CANFORD QUEEN EW @ 7/1EW Place

Earn up to R5000 in CASHBACK, when you deposit and bet R50 or more on Betta Numbers draws and or Prematch (Sports) between 25 July till 05 August 2024

Race 5 – 1900m (MR 70 Handicap)

EVENTIDOR has solid form and has been running well with his big weight. He faces similar rivals and can run into the money again. It is encouraging that Smanga Khumalo rides, and he can get the gelding into the winner’s box.

Suggested Bet – EVENTIDOR EW @ 5/1

Race 6 – 1400m (MR 74 Handicap)

PHAKA IMALI is a model of consistency and never runs a bad race. He has run into the money in 11 of his last 12 races. Rachel Venniker takes the ride, and with 57kgs, the pair can once again finish in the money.

Suggested Bet – PHAKA IMALI EW @ 7/1

Play Aviator between 20-31 July 2024 and pay attention to the chat as TicTac Bets are giving away Free Bets!

Race 7 – 1400m (MR 74 Handicap)

It is a competitive race with many winning chances, so go wide in the exotics. BENNI IN THE AREA is weighted to finish ahead of his rivals and represents EW value. He has good form and, with some luck, can notch his second win in his career.

Suggested Bet – BENNI IN THE AREA EW @ 8/1EW Win

Race 8 – 1000m (FM 68 Handicap)

SWEET JULIA has good form and, from a good draw, can run well. Rachel Venniker takes 1.5kgs off, and the filly runs with 59.5kgs. With some luck in running, I expect the three-year-old to run into the money and end the 2023/2024 SA Horse Racing season with a bang!

Suggested Bet – SWEET JULIA EW @ 9/1EW Place
