Wednesday’s horse racing action is available from KZN, with an eight-race program from the Greyville Turf track. Racing begins at 12:35 and includes a competitive MR 95 Handicap event in Race 5. Race 1 – 1400m (Maiden Plate)
VENCEDOR has made good improvement over his last few starts. He jumps from a good draw of two and races with a handy mass of 55.5kgs. He should be fighting out the finish in the opener.

Race 2 – 1000m (Maiden Plate)
FUTURE FLO has good form lines and has been racing over further. He drops back to sprinting distance, and I think he can win this race and shed his maiden.

Race 3 – 1600m (Maiden Plate)
SWEET REUNION did not see out the 1750m last time. She should enjoy the drop to the mile and will be running on at the finish. I expect a strong showing and a place finish.

Race 4 – 1600m (Conditional Progress Plate)
FRENCH FLAME is the best-weighted runner in this race. His last race has been franked, and with some luck in running, he should finish in the money.

Race 5 – 1800m (MR 95 Handicap)
VIHAAN’S BOMB has won four in a row and is going for his fifth straight win. He has been rested for ten weeks and may need this run. However, I will take my chances on him to at least finish in the top three.

Race 6 – 1400m (FM 68 Handicap)
PERFECT TRUST had excuses last time, so ignore that run. Her previous form is good, and I see no reason why she is so high in the betting. Despite her wide draw, her low mass of 54kgs gives her a chance. A small EW bet at very attractive odds.

Race 7 – 1200m (MR 88 Handicap)
TWENTY ONE MAY was not too far behind in his comeback run. He will strip fitter now and is a leading contender. He is still progressive and should run well.

Race 8 – 1000m (FM 82 Handicap)
SIBERIAN WINTER did not run well in any of her feature races in the KZN Champions Season. She is having her first run in handicap company and can cause an upset. While her feature race form was not good, she ran against some top sorts. She is still progressive and could have more to come. Carded to race with 52kgs in this sprint, she represents excellent EW value.
