1X2 Tips For Rugby Fixtures Today

Crusaders(WIN) 1.36 odds vs Blues

Tip 1: Crusaders to win

Reason for the tip: A place in the Super Rugby Pacific semi-finals is on the line as the Crusaders host the Blues in a blockbuster New Zealand derby that promises plenty of intensity and physicality. The defending champions enter the knockout clash full of confidence after finishing the regular season strongly and will rely on the experience of captain David Havili, Codie Taylor, Ethan Blackadder and Sevu Reece. The return of Leicester Fainga’anuku in the loose forwards adds further power and ball-carrying ability while Noah Hotham and Taha Kemara will be tasked with controlling territory and tempo.

The Blues on their day have the firepower to trouble any side. Caleb Clarke remains one of the most dangerous finishers in the competition while Stephen Perofeta’s game management and kicking could prove crucial in Christchurch. Veteran leaders Patrick Tuipulotu, Ofa Tu’ungafasi and Pita Ahki will be expected to set the platform up front with impact players such as Hoskins Sotutu and Finlay Christie waiting on the bench. One of the key battles may come at the breakdown, where Blackadder and Christian Lio-Willie face a tough challenge from Anton Segner and Malachi Wrampling. The scrum is where the home side have the edge and this is why I am backing them for the win.

Glasgow vs Bulls(WIN) 2.60 odds

Tip 2: Bulls to win

Reason for the tip:.A place in the URC final is up for grabs as defending champions Glasgow Warriors host the Bulls in what promises to be a thrilling semi-final clash between two of the competition’s strongest sides. Glasgow have been formidable at Scotstoun but will be playing this “home match” at Murrayfield. They will look to their experienced Scottish internationals to guide them through. Captain Kyle Steyn leads a dangerous backline featuring the creative Sione Tuipulotu, electric scrum-half George Horne, and fullback Josh McKay. Up front, Rory Darge, Jack Dempsey and the Fagerson brothers will be crucial in matching the Bulls’ physicality at the breakdown and set piece.

The Bulls arrive packed with Springbok talent and knockout-match experience. The return of Handre Pollard at fly-half adds composure and game management while Willie le Roux’s vision and Kurt-Lee Arendse’s finishing ability make them a constant attacking threat. The visitors also boast one of the most powerful forward packs in the URC, led by captain Marcell Coetzee, Cameron Hanekom, Ruan Nortje, and Gerhard Steenekamp. The match will come down to the superior backline of Glasgow against the better pack of the Bulls and I am backing the visitors for the win.

Exeter Chiefs vs Saracens(WIN) 2.15 odds

Tip 3: Saracens to win

Reason for the tip: The entire season comes down to the final league match as the Exeter Chiefs host Saracens with the winner claiming the coveted fourth and final spot in the semi-finals.  Exeter have shown significant improvement throughout the season and will look to use home advantage to secure a crucial result. Captain Dafydd Jenkins leads a powerful pack featuring Ethan Roots, Christ Tshiunza, Tom Hooper, and veteran prop Scott Sio. In the backs, England international Henry Slade and Wallaby centre Len Ikitau provide creativity and experience while Paul Brown-Bampoe’s finishing ability gives the Chiefs a dangerous edge out wide.

Saracens arrive knowing that victory could be enough to secure their place in the top four. Led by captain Maro Itoje, the visitors possess a wealth of international quality throughout their squad. Ben Earl and Tom Willis form a dynamic back-row combination while Jamie George brings leadership and accuracy at set-piece time. The presence of Owen Farrell on the bench provides a potentially decisive weapon if the game remains close in the final quarter. The difference between the sides will be experience therefore I am backing the visitors for the win.

Bath(WIN) 1.25 odds vs Leicester Tigers

Tip 4: Bath to win

Reason for the tip:Everything is on the line as Bath host Leicester Tigers in the final match of the PREM regular season, with a home semi-final up for grabs for the winner. Bath have enjoyed an outstanding campaign and will be eager to finish strongly in front of their home supporters although they will be without their talisman Finn Russell. Captain Ben Spencer directs a dangerous backline featuring the powerful Ollie Lawrence, exciting winger Henry Arundell and versatile playmaker Santi Carreras filling the flyhalf berth. Up front, the hosts boast a formidable pack led by Sam Underhill, Alfie Barbeary, Thomas du Toit and Beno Obano, the latter two being super powerful at scrum time.

Leicester Tigers arrive with their own ambitions of securing a home semi-final and have named a battle-hardened side. James O’Connor’s experience at fly-half will be crucial while Tommy Reffell and Hanro Liebenberg will look to disrupt Bath’s rhythm around the breakdown. The Tigers also possess dangerous attacking threats in Adam Radwan and Gabriel Hamer-Webb, both capable of producing game-changing moments. The home support and powerful pack of the home side makes me predict a Bath victory.

Rugby Handicap Betting

Handicap Betting Tips for Today

Leinster vs Stormers:Home team(-13.5)1.91 odds

Reason for tip:A place in the URC final is on the line as Leinster host the Stormers in a blockbuster semi-final at the Aviva Stadium. Despite both teams missing some key personnel, this match has the potential to be an absolute cracker. Leinster are looking to become the first side to go back to back winners and have named a formidable lineup packed with international stars. Captain Caelan Doris leads a powerful pack that includes Josh van der Flier, James Ryan, Joe McCarthy and Andrew Porter while the backline boasts world-class talent in Jamison Gibson-Park, James Lowe, Hugo Keenan, and New Zealand international Rieko Ioane. Young fly-half Sam Prendergast will once again be tasked with guiding Leinster around the park in a high-pressure knockout fixture.

The Stormers travel to Dublin determined to upset the favourites and book another URC final appearance. Damian Willemse provides attacking spark from fullback while Evan Roos and Ben-Jason Dixon will look to challenge Leinster physically at the breakdown. Captain Ruhan Nel leads an experienced backline capable of striking from anywhere on the field, with Leolin Zas and Wandisile Simelane offering plenty of pace out wide. The experience of the hosts will see them through to another victory. I am backing them to win and cover the -13.5 handicap.

Chiefs vs Reds: Home team(-14.5)1.87 odds

Reason for tip: The Chiefs and Reds meet in a fascinating Super Rugby Pacific playoff match with a coveted place in the semi-finals on the line. The home side enter the contest as favourites and boast one of the most dangerous attacking lineups in the competition. Damian McKenzie returns in the playmaker role while Cortez Ratima provides speed and accuracy from scrum-half. In the forwards, Wallace Sititi, Luke Jacobson and Tupou Vaa’i lead a powerful pack capable of dominating both possession and territory. The Chiefs will also look to dangerous finishers Kyren Taumoefolau and Liam Coombes-Fabling to convert opportunities out wide.

The Reds arrive determined to cause an upset and have plenty of firepower of their own. Captain Fraser McReight will be central to their hopes at the breakdown while Harry Wilson and Lukhan Salakaia-Loto bring valuable physicality and experience. In the backline, Tate McDermott’s tempo and Carter Gordon’s game management will be crucial while Tim Ryan and Filipo Daugunu possess the pace to punish any defensive lapses. The return of McKenzie and the power of the home side’s forward pack makes me predict a Chiefs win and I am also backing them to cover the -14.5 handicap.

Understanding Rugby Betting

It is crucial that players understand the different types of rugby betting. If a player places a wager on a handicap bet with fully understanding it, he could think they won the bet but instead they lost the bet as they did not understand how it works. Our rugby predictions will give you the option of the three way bet or the handicap betting as our previews will focus on this.

Different types of Rugby bets

Match Winner

The most self-explanatory of bets to take on a rugby match. This is the most common and oldest type of rugby bet in which you select Team A or Team B to win. The odds on this type of bet may be low especially if your team is the favourite.

Draw No Bet

The draw is quite rare in Rugby Union, but it does happen from time to time. If you’re worried about the draw messing up your bet then take a Draw No Bet market. Your bet will be refunded if the match result ends in a draw.

Handicap Betting

The most popular bets on rugby are handicap bets. This is often where some of the best value is to be found. The handicap is an advantage that bookmakers give one team to make the game more balanced. The team given the positive handicap can win, draw or lose the game by less than the handicap to cover the bet and win. The team with the negative handicap must win the match by more than the points set out in the handicap to win their bet.

Total points over/under

The over/under betting market involves predicting whether the total number of points scored in a match will be above or lower than a certain predetermined number. For instance, if you bet on the over/under 50 points market and you bet on under, the combined score of the two teams shouldn’t exceed 50.

First Try Scorer

Rugby fans know the excitement that comes when a player breaks through the defence to score the first try. Betting on the first-try scorer is about predicting which player from either team will cross the try line first. This bet type carries higher odds as it’s challenging to predict, making potential payouts more lucrative.

Anytime Try Scorer

Less specific than the first-try scorer bet, the anytime try scorer wager involves picking a player you believe will score a try at any point during the match. The odds are typically lower than for the first-try scorer but offer a better chance of a payout.
