Reason for the tip: Two winless teams meet when Counties Manukau come up against North harbour in this 6th round encounter in the Bunnings NPC. Counties need their big name players like Hoskins Sotutu and Etene Nanai-Seturo to stand up if they are to bounce back from five opening round defeats. Harbour have their own superstar in Mark Telea but in the last match he seemed to be fighting the battle alone with little help from his team mates.

The biggest issue facing both sides has been their poor defence which has seen them playing catch up from early in the game. This has led to them taking more risks and getting punished for their errors on turnover balls. The forward packs of both sides look to be very evenly matched although the home side look to have the edge in the backs with the likes of Seturo and Joshua Gray. I am backing Counties to pick up their first win of the season.
