Race 1 – 800m (Maiden Juvenile Plate)
The card opens with a babies race, so no bets from my side. Keep an eye on the betting markets if you are having a bet on this race.

EXPLOSIVE BOND has been running well and is a model of consistency. Her good form should finally be rewarded with a win in this Non-Black Type race.

ESPINOZA met a competitive maiden field last time and was produced a decent run. This race is more shallow, so if he runs like his previous form, he should shed his maiden tag.

Race 4 – 1400m (MR 74 Handicap)
RATTLE BAG has a win and two thirds from her last three starts. She is taking on male rivals here but should be competitive, especially with the 1.5kg claim from Rachel Venniker.

Race 5 – 1400m (Progress Plate)
TRUTH returns from a 10-week break, during which he was gelded. He is a progressive gelding, and if he has taken to the gelding, he should run into the money.

Race 6 – 1000m (Pinnacle Stakes)
DYCE is the banker in all exotics on the card. He is unbeaten in three races so far this season. Despite a hefty mass of 62kgs, he is the class horse in this race, and should take a power of beating.

Race 7 – 1600m (Grade 2)
SILVER SANCTUARY is much better than her last start in the Summer Cup. She returns to her ideal trip, and on her previous form, should be involved in the finish.

Race 8 – 1600m (Pinnacle Stakes)
MAIN DEFENDER is the best bet on the entire card, and should win going away. I am not interested in any bets, since he is at 2/10 in the betting. Instead, I suggest you banker him in all exotics.

Race 9 – 1160m (Novice Handicap)
DRIVELIKEAMASTER won on debut and could be anything. That race has since been franked, so I will take some confidence from that. A small EW bet, on the unknown three-year-old.

Race 10 – 1160m (MR 68 Handicap)
TWICE AS WILD has been running well, and always seems to run into the money. She carries a low mass of 52.5kgs in this race, and on best form, should fight out the finish.
