LAVENDER BAY was unlucky in running last time as she had to be steadied at the 300m mark. She is in good form and with better luck in running, she should run into the money.

KAMCHATKA is on the rise and followed up her impressive maiden win with another win in this class. She received a small penalty and should run well again. I think the hat trick of wins is on the cards.

Race 6 – 1400m (Class 5)
UNSOLVED RIDDLE was a game winner last time, when finding more to win. That race has been franked. He does carry top weight with 61.5kgs, but is in a good space and is the horse to beat.

Race 7 – 1400m (Class 5)
After a decent comeback run, SENHORA VICTORIA should strip fitter. She has a good record over course and distance with a win and three seconds. From pole position, she is a leading contender.

Race 8 – 1400m (Class 4)
DAWN TILL DUSK ran on powerfully last time when finishing second. I expect the same tactics to be adopted for this race. As long as he is not too far back at the 500m, he should be mowing them down.
