Tip: Orlando Pirates to win @ 1.45✅
Reason for the tip: Pirates finally got off the mark with a win last week against Stellenbosch. They should prove stronger than Orbit College and I expect a routine victory at home.
Polokwane vs Durban City
Tip: Match to end in a draw @ 3.20✅
Reason for the tip: This should be a tight game as both teams started the South African premiership season well and occupy a top eight position in the PSL log. I cannot seperate these sides and think both will be happy with a point apiece.
Richards Bay vs Chippa Utd
Tip: Under 2.5 goals @ 1.50✅
Reason for the tip: Both of these teams have struggled in their South African premiership games and occupy 15th and 16th on the table. With two teams desperate for their first win of the season, this should be a cagey game with a lack of goals. Back the unders and add it to your PSL accumulators for this week.
Stellenbosch vs Marumo Gallants
Tip: Stellenbosch 1X @ 1.25✅
Reason for the tip: Marumo have started the season well and have 6 points from three PSL games. Stellies are still looking for their first win of the season but are always strong at home. I like them to win but will take the safer route of the double chance and add the bet as one of the legs for my PSL accumulators.
TS Galaxy vs Siwelele
Tip: Match to end in a draw @ 3.00❌
Reason for the tip: It has been a struggle for both of these sides so far in the South African premiership season. This PSL fixture should be a close fight and both teams have struggled in attack. For that reason, we could be headed for a drab draw, and at 3.00 that is nice odds.

Golden Arrows vs Magesi
Tip: Golden Arrows 1X @ 1.35
Reason for the tip: Home side Golden Arrows sit in 8th spot on the South African premiership standings ahead of this game. Visitors Magesi are still looking for their first win and occupy 13th spot. I expect Arrows to be competitive at home and will be surprised if they succumb to defeat so back the double chance.
Kaizer Chiefs vs Mamelodi Sundowns
Tip: Sundowns X2 @ 1.30
Reason for the tip: The standout PSL fixture of midweek and this should be a cracking game. Amakhosi have started the season well with three wins on the bounce but this game should determine whether they are a challenger for the PSL crown. Sundowns after a slow start are firing now and are a big threat on attack. Chiefs should trouble Downs but I cannot see Masandawana getting beaten, and I won’t put anyone off the away win at 2.40, but for a safer bet take Downs on the double chance market.
Sekhukhune vs Amazulu
Tip: Sekhukhune to win @ 2.10
Reason for the tip: The final PSL match of midweek and this should be another close game. Sekhukhune have started the season well with three wins from three and zero goals conceded. Amazulu are also in good form with 6 points from three games. At home Sekhukhune should be worthy favourites and as long as the squad is not tired after the previous weekend’s MTN 8 semi final they should see of a competitive Usuthu outfit.

Understanding Football Predictions

What is 1×2 betting?

What is BTTS betting?
Both teams to score (BTTS) are a favourite among bettors who love goals. This is a two-way betting market, where you predict whether or not both teams in a match will score. If two big teams are playing, who are both free-scoring, for example, Liverpool vs Arsenal, the BTTS – Yes market will be a popular soccer betting prediction for the game.
What is Over 2.5 goals?
Like the BTTS market, over 2.5 goals predicts the outcome of a game’s total number of goals. Generally, the odds on these markets are around 1.60, but if you want a safer betting option with lower odds, the over 1.5 goals market is popular. You can also bet on team totals; for example, if you think Arsenal will beat Chelsea 3-0, you can beat Arsenal to score over 2.5 goals. These odds are higher than the over 2.5 match goals since you need the Gunners to score 3 times.
What is Handicap betting?
Handicap betting is also known as spreads betting, so don’t get confused if some betting sites have different terminology. Handicap betting evens the playing field when a game has a short-priced favourite. The underdogs are given a head start with a virtual +1.5, +2.5, +3.5, etc lead. For example, if Man City were playing Ipswich at the Etihad, the 1×2 betting would be Man City at 1.15. The handicap line would be Man City -2.5 at 1.90.
This means that Ipswich are given a 2 goal head start, so for your bet on Man City -2.5 to win, the team must win by three goals. If the game ends 3-1 to City, you bet loses because Ipswich won the virtual handicap line 3 – 3.5 (1 goal scored plus the +2.5 handicap line).
What is Draw No Bet?
We mentioned 1×2 betting markets, and the draw no bet is similar, but it provides an insurance on the draw option. If the match ends in a draw, your stake is refunded. The odds on draw no bet markets are lower than the 1×2 betting markets.
How to bet on Corner Kicks?
Corner kicks are not a common betting market, but you will find these at several betting brands. You can place wagers on the total match corners in a game and how many corners each team will take. Corner kicks betting is a two-way betting market, so you are betting on the overs or under line. You should study the style of play for teams, and generally, teams that attack from wide instead of through the middle of the pitch tend to get more corners.
What are Correct Score predictions?
The correct score predictions are always mentioned whenever you search for today’s football predictions. A correct score means predicting the correct final score in a game. This betting market requires careful consideration of various factors, such as team news, head-to-head results and the form of the teams. The betting odds on the correct score are always high, but these markets are more volatile than others, like the 1×2 betting markets and the BTTS markets.
