This Weekend’s Premier League Predictions (From Saturday 18th October – Monday 20th October 2025)
The English Premier League gameweek 8 kicks off after the international break, and we have already analyzed the top possible outcomes in all EPL games, based on watching their past performances and coaching tactics. Below are our EPL predictions this weekend:
Nottingham Forest vs Chelsea
Main Tip: Away to Win
Nottingham Forest have become a toothless dog ever since they sacked their previous coach, Nuno Espirito, and replaced him with the former Tottenham manager. They have failed to win both in the EPL and in Europe.
Chelsea bounced back from their losing streak to beat Liverpool at Stamford Bridge with an impressive showing. We expect Chelsea to win against Nottingham Forest comfortably as most of their first team will have a good rest, while some are expected to be back from injury. Another good bet for this game is Chelsea to play over 4.5 corners and over 12.5 shots.
Other Tips:
- Home Over 4.5 Corners
- Home to play over 12.5 shots
- Over 2.5 Goals
Brighton vs Newcastle United
Main Tip: Both Teams to Score
Brighton have been coming up as one of the tough teams to beat again this season, as they have won both Manchester City and Chelsea already this season. While they failed to win their last EPL game, they found the net, and the game ended in a score draw.
Newcastle United are currently coming up in form as they have won both in Europe and in the EPL. However, they’re still unconvincing at the back.
We expect both teams to score in this game and the game to finish with at least 3 goals.
Other Tips:
- Over 2.5 goals
- Over 8.5 Corner Kicks
- Over 33.5 throw-ins
Burnley vs Leeds United
Main Tip: Both Teams to Score
Both teams have been marred with inconsistent performances this season, although Leeds have fought harder in their games than Burnley. Burnley lost 2-1 to struggling Aston Villa last gameweek.
Leeds United equally lost to Tottenham Hotspur last gameweek with the same scoreline. However, while their defenses are poor, they have managed to get on the scoresheet in most of their games. We expect this trend in this game, as both teams have had defense but a relatively good attack.
Other Tips:
- Over 20.5 shots
- Over 33.5 Throw-ins
- Over 14.5 Fouls
Crystal Palace vs Bournemouth
Main Tip: Draw
Crystal Palace finally lost to Everton last gameweek, and they had it coming, especially after playing in Europe. They have another European game after this match, but we expect them to try and clinch victory in this game.
Bournemouth, on the other hand, has been very good in attack and sometimes shaky at the back. Both teams are almost of equal strength, and we expect a 1-1 scoreline in this game.
Other Tips:
- Both teams to score
- Under 3.5 goals
- Over 34 Throw-ins
Manchester City vs Everton
Main Tip: Manchester City to Win
Manchester City have been far from performing at their scary levels since last season, even though they thrashed Burnley 5-1 this season. Everton has been very good this season and very hard to beat.
Pep’s side seems to have defensive lapses, and that has caused Manchester City to lose many points this season. This has made them adopt a conservative approach as seen in their 1-0 win over Brentford last gameweek.
Nevertheless, we expect a City win as Erling Haaland remains a beast in front of goal, and their quality should be enough to see off Everton in this game.
Other Tips:
- Over 2.5 Goals
- Everton Over 8.5 shots
- Over 8.5 Corners
Sunderland Vs Wolves
Main Tip: Both Teams to Score
This game features two teams that are almost of equal strength. Sunderland lost their last game 2-0 against a recovering Manchester United, while Wolves were able to hold Brighton to a draw.
Even though Sunderland couldn’t find the net against a weak Manchester United defense, we expect them to score against Wolves.
Both teams have been able to find the net in 90% of their games this season, and we’re holding on to this trend.
Other Tips:
- Over 8.5 Corner kicks
- Over 2.5 cards
- Over 34 throw-ins
Fulham vs Arsenal
Main Tip: Arsenal to Win
The Gunners have been exceptional this season, even though they have been hit with various injuries. They are currently top of the table after Liverpool lost to Crystal Palace and Chelsea last gameweek.
We expect Arsenal to build on their momentum and firm the top position. Fulham aren’t easy to beat, and it is a London Derby, but Arsenal have the needed quality to see out this game.
We expect Fulham to try to find the net, but a low-scoring win for Arsenal is the best pick here.
Other Tips:
- Under 3.5 goals
- Over 33.5 throw-ins
- Home Over 12.5 shots
Tottenham Hotspur vs Aston Villa
Main Tip: Tottenham Hotspur to Win or Draw
Tottenham Hotspur have been a mixture of hot and cold this season, but they are currently occupying the third position in the league. They have been good this season, and we expect them to continue with their fine form.
Aston Villa, on the other hand, has finally started getting results and scoring goals. However, they’re still rusty in terms of defense. We expect Tottenham to win or draw and both teams to score in this game.
Other Tips:
- Over 2.5 Goals
- Both teams to score
- Home Over 3.5 corners
Liverpool Vs Manchester United
Main Tip: Liverpool to Win
Liverpool is currently out of form as they have lost 2 games in a row. However, in their defence, they faced really good teams. Also, we fancy a Liverpool win in this game because they’ll want to get back to the top of the table.
Manchester United have won 2 games in a row for the first time this season and in a long time, but they’re still far from being convincing.
We expect Liverpool to win this game and for at least 3 goals to be scored in this game.
Other Tips:
- Over 2.5 goals
- Over 23.5 shots
- Over 2.5 cards
West Ham United Vs Brentford
Main Tip: Both Teams to Score
The new West Ham coach is yet to instill his philosophy into the squad, and in their last game (against Arsenal), they were outclassed.
Nuno is known for his defensive solidity in teams he has managed, but West Ham does not seem to have enough tools for him at the moment. However, the West Ham frontline can cause damage to any team.
Brentford, on the other hand, have been faring well, especially when analyzed from the fact that they lost some key players this season and have yet to replace them.
However, we expect both teams to score in this game.
Other Tips:
Over 8.5 Corner kicks
Over 2.5 cards
