The Italian Serie A League is back, and at Topbets, we will be giving you a prediction for every match day.
Round 7 Predictions
While punters prefer to back former giants in the slips, Topbets will be keen on analysis games based on form, squad and previous head-to-head encounters each week.
Saturday 18th October
Lecce vs Sassuolo
Lecce have managed just one win and two draws from their six Serie A matches this season, falling to both AC Milan and Cagliari at home along the way. Sassuolo, on the other hand, have recorded three wins and three losses without a single draw. Sassuolo ground a 2-0 victory away when the two sides last met at Lecce last year. This is what shapes our prediction for this week’s clash.
- Tip 1: X2
- Tip 2: Under 2.5 goals

Torino vs Napoli
Napoli have taken an early lead in the Serie A table with five wins and one loss that came at the hands of AC Milan last match week. The defending champions failed to find equalizer despite having a man advantage for 30 minutes apart from Kevin de Bruyne’s penalty. They beat Torino both home and away last season but have failed to keep a clean sheet in five of their last six games.
- Tip 1: Napoli away win
- Tip 2: Corners over 5.5
- Tip 3: BTTS – yes
Pisa vs Verona
Both teams are still searching for their first win, and the city of Pisa sets the stage for this battle. The hosts managed a goalless draw against Fiorentina to earn just their second point from six matches, while Verona sit two places higher in 18th with an extra draw. This fixture carries all the hallmarks of a draw. Their last two fixtures ended 0-0 and 1-1.
- Tip 1: Draw
- Tip 2: BTTS – no
- Tip 3: Correct score: 0-0
- Tip 4: Under 2.5
AS Roma vs Inter
Roma are tied on 15 points with table leaders Napoli but sit second due to goal difference. They host Inter Milan who are 4th with 13 points. Roma came from a goal down at Fiorentina to grab a win with Matias Soule and Byran Cristante 22’and 30th minute goals. Inter are on a five-match winning streak in all competitions scoring at least two goals including their 4-1 last time.
- Tip: BTTS – YES
- Tip 2: Over 2.5
Sunday 19th October
Como vs Juventus
In another season, this would be a straight prediction for The Old Lady but instead, they have become kings of draws with five straight draws. It doesn’t matter how many goals have been scored: 0-0, 1-1 or 4-4s, they’ve in all forms. Como have drawn three out of five including the last two against Cremonese and Atalanta away.
- Tip 1: correct score: 1-1
- Tip 2: Draw
- Tip 3: BTTS – Yes
- Tip 3: BTTS – Yes
Cagliari vs Bologna
Cagliari have spread their results evenly this season, registering two wins, two draws, and two losses, scoring six goals and conceding the same across six outings. They average at least a goal per game but have been just as vulnerable at the back. Bologna, meanwhile, have made a solid start and sit seventh with 10 points from six matches. Their recent 2-2 draw at Lecce followed a run of narrow 1-0 defeats against tough opponents in Aston Villa, AC Milan and Roma.
- Tip 1: BTTS – yes
- Tip 2: Bologna or draw
- Tip 3: Correct score: 1-2
Sunday 19th October
Genoa vs Parma
Genoa and Parma have the second worst attacks that have scored only three goals, an average of 0.5 per game. But while they’ve poor attacks, they have only conceded 9and 7 goals respectively. Genoa sit 19th with two points while Parma hang above on 14th with five.
- Tip 1: Under 2.5
- Tip 2: BTTS – no
Bologna v Pisa
Pisa have collected only two points this season and this will be seen as an opportunity by hosts Bologna to narrow the gap between them and the leading teams.
- Tip 1: Bologna Win
- Tip 2: Over 2.5 Goals
- Tip 3: BTTS
Atalanta vs Lazio
Atalanta are the masters of draw in Serie A this season with four out of six and is one of the only two teams still unbeaten. Lazio lays low at 13th early in the season but their striking line led by league’s leading joint scorer Matteo Cancellieri has shown potential. Before their back-to-back 1-0 losses to Roma and Sassuolo, the had pumped in six goals against Torino and Genoa. However, they miss influential midfielder Mattéo Guendouzi and defender Mario Gila who received red cards at home to Roma.
- Tip 1: under 4.5 bookings
- Tip 2: Atalanta or draw
- Tip 3: over 1.5
AC Milan vs Fiorentina
AC Milan sit third with 13 points from four wins, one draw and a loss to Cremonese in Milan. They’re motivated after slowing down Napoli with a 2-1 win at San Siro despite the fact that they played from 57th minute with a man less after Pervis Estupinan picked a red card. Fiorentina have picked three straight draws on the road but have lost to Napoli and Roma. They sit just above the red in 17th with only three points.
- Tip 1: AC Milan win
- Tip 2: BTTS – no
Monday 19th October
Cremonese vs Udinese
Cremonese had drawn three consecutive matches before losing 4-1 at Inter last match day. They sit 10th with nine points, two places and a point ahead of Udinese. Both sides have been cagey and this should not be different.
